Freedom in Your Own Home

Any renovation you would wish to make on a rented home usually has boundaries. For any type of renovation you would have to ask your landlord if he/she would permit it. In the end it would be him/her who would reap the benefits of certain improvements who might have done such as new coverings for windows or new tiles, new carpet and not to mention the painting which might have cost you thousands of dollars.

Your landlord himself probably would not be willing also to spend big on improving the home as he would not want to make his expenses go up.

But if it were your own home, there would be no limit as to the kind of improvement you can do. It would not be just any landlord who reaps the fruits of your labor with the improvements you have done but you yourself, when you do it to your own home.
